What drew you to study Data Science at Penn?
The Data Science program at Penn is flexible and has classes from a variety of fields. In addition, there are a lot of additional opportunities around Data Science in the larger Penn community, including the Penn Data Science Group, Wharton Analytics Fellow. If you are interested in research, there are also a lot of different labs from various domains.

What are some classes that you have particularly enjoyed and why?
CIS5230 Ethical Algorithm Design: This is a great class to encourage you to think about how ML models can be unintentionally biased/unfair and how we can fix it. What does social responsibility look like for data scientists? Check out this class!

What internships have you had? If you know your post-graduation plans, please include them here.
I interned at Wayfair over the summer as a Technical Data Analyst Intern. I analyzed clickstream data to understand user experience on the Wayfair app. For post-grad plan, I am still figuring it out!

What advice do you have for new students?
1. Brush up on basic Python, Linear Algebra, Probability, Statistics, and Calculus
2. Actively connect with people in your cohort
3. Practice self-care & Enjoy!
