1. Very flexible and diversified curriculum. 2. Many tech clubs at Penn where we can apply our DS knowledge to real-life projects. 3. The DSGA family!
What are some classes that you have particularly enjoyed and why?
CIS 545: the first class to give you an overview about data science
CIS 520: a machine learning theory course with lots of hardcore math stuff
ESE 546: a deep learning course where Prof. Pratik offers many fundamental understanding about the classic DL models
ESE 605: an applied optimization course which could help you better understand DL models from the optimization perspective
